a unique venue & ethos that extends itself as a co-op by seeing three different functions: Modern unisex hairdressing, Retail of curated product lines across hair, skin & fragrance, co-working studios/areas housed under the one roof.

found through the ‘clash’ of custom steel installations that create dimension & subdivisions. up cycled plastic fabrications for playful softness. bold colour & muted white light. creative visual projections & lo-fi ambient music.

THE SMALL CIRCLE Co-op model IS dynamic and inclusive. bringing together hair professionals, Australian brands and independents under one roof.

this business model supports the growth and development of various industries while promoting a sense of community and collaboration.
MOTIVATION
The motivation behind this project was to bring a contemporary, elevated & unique space X ethos to life In a small coastal/rural town that values independent trade.
providing a platform for sole trading creatives to share & benefit from. WITH THE FORESIGHT VIEW FOR A community driven VENUE THAT promotes warm personable service & authentic hospitality tailored to its environment & the individual.
The business aims to adapt to the ‘right’ people & the focus is on curating a synergistic energy with in the space that flows with the team, collaborators, clients & brands who can grow together.
Kieren has approached his new project AKA ‘Small Circle’ hands on to design a brand & business from the ground up that aims to provide a creative outlet that others can share.
